Never completed the Leclerc shopping center, Spansko, Zagreb goes down in history. The lost object on Ljubljanska Avenue, apart from disturbing the appearance of the city neighborhood, was also a problem for tenants in the area. It is now replaced with the newest generation shopping center “Z CENTAR”.
The entire land plot of 60,000 square meters was bought by a group of investors gathered at Sensa Nekretnine d.o.o. and plans to create a modern shopping mall (Z CENTAR) with numerous accompanying amenities.
Z CENTAR, Spansko, Zagreb is about the revitalization of the whole area, where, apart from the center. In the shopping center “Z CENTAR” will be a supermarket Plodine, fashion brands: Peek & Cloppenburg (Anson’s), Sinsay, Cropp, House, Reserved, Mohito, New Yorker, CCC shoes & bags, biggest Intersport in Croatia, DM drogerie markt, Optika Anda, Prahir jewelry, cinema (Cinestar), Hall of Game (a game sports arena), electronic store Tehnomag, Pepco, food court: Burger King, Tvornica Zdrave Hrane, Milky, Dragon, etc… In the retail park Z CENTAR tenants: Tedi, JYSK, Kik, Zvjerinjak, Minipolis, Mini golf terrain on the roof of the retail park, etc… and as a part of the project standalone supermarket Lidl, Mc Donald’s drive-in restaurant, and shopping park (retail park).
The whole area of the Z CENTAR, Zagreb will be complemented by a large square that will connect the aforementioned units, with fun-catering facilities: playgrounds, and wintertime skating rinks for families living in the surrounding quarters.
The difference between shopping center Z CENTAR, Zagreb, and other shopping malls will be its openness to the surrounding area and orientation to the needs of Spansko and the western part of the town of Zagreb. In addition to the commercial content of Z CENTAR, great focus is placed on public areas that will connect the surrounding quarters with the entire area.
The project shopping mall “Z CENTAR” includes sports grounds, playgrounds, and minigolf terrain on the roof of the retail park. The parking lot of the shopping mall “Z CENTAR” will stretch both under the shopping center and the shopping park (retail park) and below the square. The square of the Z CENTAR itself will have a floor
heating during the winter so that all year round, so it would be a gathering place for people from around the world.
The beginning of the work of the shopping center “Z CENTAR” is planned for March 2018, and the planned opening of the shopping center “Z CENTAR”, Spansko, Zagreb is on 26th August 2021. It is important to emphasize that the project “Z CENTAR” will include a multiplex cinema (Cinestar), esports game arena biggest in Croatia, a modern food court, great fashion, and sports shops, a gym, a casino, and more.
The new shopping center Z CENTAR, Spansko, Zagreb will have a different approach, unlike the classic shopping malls that are conceptually closed, this will be open concept. Shopping center Z CENTAR, Spansko, Zagreb is a new generation of shopping malls and combines the best of all the projects so far, both contentedly and ideally conceptually and visually, this is the first project that will, besides internal, also activate external spaces as useful contents
for the community.
